Lifestyle newborn photo sessions are done in the comfort of your home. These images could be done in your family room, bedroom, baby’s nursery. With a lifestyle session it is still recommended to get the session done within the first two weeks of birth, but as these are more natural poses, this session can be done up to 3 months of age. All family members are welcome, yes this can also include your pets.
Fresh 48 - this is a session done at the hospital within the first 48 hours after birth. Most hospitals do have franchised companies at the hospital that do these pictures, but sadly most of the time those photographers are not highly experienced handling newborns. Sadly I have seen job postings for these positions and their mainly requirement is Customer Service Experience. I bring with me over 7 years experience specializing in newborn photography. Your baby’s safety is my top priority.
For both lifestyle and Fresh 48 sessions, a few simple wraps, hats, headbands can be provided.
