At Ursula Durkalec Photography I offer stunning studio, scenic outdoor and lifestyle in your home maternity photo sessions. Whether you prefer a glamorous, elegant shoot using one of my maternity gowns or a sweet, simple session in your own favorite outfit, I’ll create images that reflect your style and celebrate this special time.
It is best to get your pregnancy pictures done between 28 and 36 weeks of pregnancy. During this time you will typically feel and look your best and are less likely to become fatigued quickly. Plus, most babies don’t arrive exactly on their due date — some come early while others stay cozy and push past the expected date. If you’re over 36 weeks you can still absolutely have your photos taken; I even had a client who had hers done the day before a scheduled C‑section.

Studio Maternity Photo Sessions
A studio maternity session provides a comfortable, weather-proof space to celebrate your growing belly. You can relax without worrying about the weather. Controlled lighting and private changing areas make the experience stress-free.
Depending on the package you select, you can wear two to three different outfits to give variety to your images. Most clients choose one elegant maternity gown and then pick a second, more casual outfit for contrast. Jeans paired with a white crop top or a simple blouse are always a timeless, flattering choice.
A variety of backdrops is available, including digital options. If you have a specific inspiration or idea for your session, please reach out to me and I’ll do my best to accommodate it.
